Our Journey Towards Resilience
To promote climate-smart disaster risk management and development through community empowerment, research, policy engagement, capacity building, and sustainable livelihood initiatives across Nigeria.
Established in response to the increasing impacts of climate variability, environmental degradation, and recurrent disasters such as flooding, drought, erosion, and heat stress, CADDI is dedicated to addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change, disaster risk, and sustainable development. Our initiatives cover crucial thematic areas, ensuring holistic development and disaster risk reduction across Nigeria's most vulnerable communities.
CADDI was founded by dedicated professionals committed to addressing climate change impacts that disproportionately affect Nigeria's most vulnerable populations. Fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), we work to strengthen community resilience, promote climate-smart and disaster-informed development, and support evidence-based policies that reduce poverty and vulnerability while enhancing sustainable livelihoods.
We serve vulnerable communities across Nigeria, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups who are severely impacted by environmental changes and recurrent disasters.
